Terry Rogers - R. Purcell

After twenty years in the public education sector, I am at a career crossroads. Through no fault of my own, I find myself jobless and am finding that the job search process is time consuming, unwieldy and without a lot of assistance available. I decided to start my own business from my home and even that I am finding is difficult and without much help from state or local authorities.

My passions are education, drunk driving prevention and personal health and nutrition. Much of what I write will be about those subjects, but my brain does not think logically and there will be a lot of random thoughts and beliefs that will appear in my writing.

I am a wife and mother. I own two dogs and three fish. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration but am heading back to school to become a certified event planner in the next few months. My dream job would be as a full-time event planner as I absolutely love planning and executing events - whether it be birthday parties, fund-raisers or conventions. I love to travel and my husband and I visit Jamaica every year with a beloved group of friends.
